Description:
Recently I did small research about new SDS and found a new project SaunaFS. It's quite interesting and this is why:
- It has an Open Source version.
- Principal Architect is an author of LizardFS (open source fork of MooseFS).
- It is a HM-SMR aware/compatible SDS (as well sa Ceph).
- There are some unique features like "power disable": feature to decrease storage power draw by 25%
- Kubernetes support.
