Description:
I've already written about usage experience of Elecom Huge and SpaceMouse Pro Wireless. Both operate in 2.4Ghz: Elecom 2.403-2.479, SpaceMouse 2.404-2.477. But it's not all devices which do their work in 2.4Ghz and lay down on my desk (very close to each other, btw): Dell WK636 2.402-2.479, SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless 2.402-2.48, standard Bluetooth devices like Wacom CTL-4100WL 2.402-2.48 etc.
To connect all those devices I use Orico A3H7 USB 3.0 Hub. When I did Elecom precision movement adjustments I noticed some glitches which appeared from time to time. That time I just postponed solving those problems till a more convenient time. Now I have such facts as:
- Changing USB 3.0 Hub position in space has an effect on wireless signal strength.
- It looks like USB 3.0 Hub metal case is not a good option for wireless signal too.
- Replacing hub to another one (Startech ST4300U3C3) nothing changes.
- Attaching devices directly to computer ports makes the situation better, but not perfect (and I don't have enough USB ports, btw).
- Power suppliers work as expected.
- I found a YouTube video with an interesting title: USB 3.0 Interference in 2.4 GHz
- I bought USB 2.0 Hub (plastic case, btw): Orico H727RK-U2
- After a week of usage I can say for sure - glitches have disappeared, input delay and overall smoothness are great!
