Almost a year ago I wrote about my workspace which was improved with three monitors. Now I have four monitors and much more space on the table. What were changed:
- I bought Dell P1917S as a central monitor between two Dell U2415. Multiple inputs of U2415 allow to connect monitors to different devices and switch between those devices by hotkeys. In those cases I can interact with different devices simultaneously and don't lose control on my primary workstation. BTW, terminals looks nice on a square monitors :) As a final convinience I bought Dell AC511, a soundbar I attached to P1917S (instead of Creative Roar 2).
- Lenovo B590 which was used as DMZ/router was replaced to Dell OptiPlex 7050 and Raspberry Pi 2. OptiPlex was placed (with help of Dell 482-BBBQ) on the back of one of the monitors and now I have more space on my table (it's important!). It will not be superfluous to say that modern i7-7700T, 32GB DDR4, SSD 512GB allow to use AWX, Zimbra, Jira, Confluence and bunch of containers at the same time on a single machine (without annoying noise, it's important!).
